About

Tom P. Ward is an experienced trial attorney, focusing on criminal defense and immigration. He has defended clients in jury trials ranging from DUI to sexual assault of a child, aggravated robbery and first-degree murder. Before coming to Bull and Davies P.C., Tom spent over a decade successfully representing clients for the Colorado State Public Defender. Tom has a proven track record of vigorously defending his clients at trial, having conducted over 50 jury trials, and achieving positive outcomes for clients in thousands of cases.

Tom understands the overwhelming prospect of being accused of a crime. He collaborates with clients to effectively lead them through the legal system, using a strategic imaginative approach to his defense. He is a persuasive negotiator and works hard to achieve the most appropriate outcome and settlements for his clients. Tom's grandfather and father are both combat veterans of the United States Military. Consequently, he feels passionately about upholding and defending the rights and protections provided in the Constitution. With family living in Guanajuato, Mexico, Tom is also able to communicate with clients in both Spanish and English.

Tom is a member of both the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar and National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He was formerly a Managing Attorney for the Colorado State Public Defender. Tom has also served as an instructor for criminal defense attorneys in Colorado. Tom was previously appointed by Governor John Hickenlooper to serve on the Judicial Nominating Committee for the 13th Judicial District and was also appointed by the Colorado Legislature to serve on the Interstate Compact for Juvenile State Counsel and the Senate Bill 94 Advisory Board.
